I got the rebuilt carburetor put back in the car last night. It ran like complete crap, because I was a retard and put the spring in the accelerator pump in the wrong place. Whoops.
Fixed that, and she’s running like a champ. Still dying at idle, though, but I think that should just be a matter of setting the volume and idle screws.
The difference is like night and day, though. There’s no more running crappy and popping when I apply the throttle. I still should get a new (fully rebuilt) carb, but this will do nicely in the interim.
