Back on the road
I got all kinds of goodies for the car today.
- New plugs & plug wires
- The hardware I needed to get the new carburetor installed
- New rotor
- New fuel filters
- Magnafire electronic ignition
I’m taking things slow to keep the number of variables down if something goes wrong. Carb first, then plugs/wires/rotor, then the ignition. I did the carb today, and wow- what a difference. No more feathering the throttle, losing power and running bad. Power comes on smooth and strong. It’s fantastic.
I might do the first half of the ignition stuff tomorrow, but I’m going to a martial arts seminar, so it may have to wait until Sunday. Sundays are good days for working on the car.
