Greasemonkey: The Slashdot Deinterrogitizer
One of the things that has always bugged me about Slashdot is the gratuitous use of quasi-interrogatory headlines. That is to say, a truly vast number of their headlines have a question mark needlessly suffixed. I find this tiny issue to be astonishingly irritating; few (if any) of the headlines are structured as questions, so the use of a question mark is not only out of place, but makes the headline seem needlessly whiny.
This handy-dandy Greasemonkey script eliminiates this superfluous punctuation, leaving clean, crisp, declaratory headlines. I present to you: Deinterrogitizer v0.9. Right-click and select “Install user script.”
