Tread softly

I feel like I’m falling apart. I got terribly sick last Thursday. I went to sleep feeling fine, but woke up at 6 feeling like I needed to vomit. This came as quite a surprise to me, since I don’t usually get sick, and even when I do get sick, I don’t usually vomit. This started six hours of puking approximately every half hour. I couldn’t even keep water down. I was starting to get concerned, but things started to even out around 10, and I was successfully rehydrating myself by the afternoon.

Sunday, I went out to see Ministry at the Showbox with Kristina and Sara. It was a very fun show, but the opening acts were lame. And I lost my glasses in the mosh pit. I needed a new prescription, but I didn’t intend to go about it like that. Amazingly, Lens Crafters was open on Memorial Day, and I was able to get new glasses.

I’m sure they’ll fall apart or something, but for now, I can see again. The exam was pretty depressing, though. My vision continues to deteriorate.

Later Sunday, I stumbled while picking up my laundry and smashed my left foot into the bedpost, breaking my middle toe. It would really be great if my body could stop falling apart for a week or two.
