Heat wave

It’s been hot. Very hot. Well, not terribly hot, but us Northwesterners get uncomfortable when the temperature breaks 80°, and it’s been in the high 80s lately. I’m considering a small AC unit, since top-floor living can get quite warm.

Since moving to Seattle, I’ve been looking for replacements for some of my old haunts down in T-Town. Strangely, one of the hardest to track down has been an excellent sushi restaurant. Tacoma has the incredible Fujiya, as well as Sushi Tama, which isn’t as amazing, but is still very good.

Soda: clear carbonated beverage, usually fruit flavored. Examples: 7-Up, Sprite, Mountain Dew.
Coke: Coca-Cola, a specific brand of cola beverage.
