It’s been hot. Very hot. Well, not terribly hot, but us Northwesterners get uncomfortable when the temperature breaks 80°, and it’s been in the high 80s lately. I’m considering a small AC unit, since top-floor living can get quite warm.

I don’t have the right sort of windows to install such a beast, though. Joe doesn’t either, and he claims that he would rather not risk having it fall and crush someone’s skull. Hippie.

For the moment, I’m dealing by wearing shorts and sandals.

In unrelated news, a new version of Aquamacs Emacs is out. Alas, this means that I must actually quit my Emacs session, which has been running for 3.5 days. Yes, I am more interested in my Emacs session uptime than my overall system uptime.
