I finally got a Wii. It’s pretty awesome. Excite Truck is loads of fun. Wii Sports is not bad at all. Zelda is lame. Goat herding? Please.

It popped right on to my WPA2 wireless network, which was a very welcome change from the PSP (WPA1/WEP only) and DS (WEP only). Opera is quite serviceable. It even has flash, and works reasonably well with YouTube.

Finding anything other than games for the system is impossible, though. The systems are still extremely difficult to find. I went to Best Buy to get an extra Wiimote/Nunchuck; they had none. In fact, the entire contents of their in-stock Wii accessories was a single Classic Controller. I bought it.
