		<description>There are monitors with DisplayPort (e.g.: HP DreamColor) - the crucial disconnect relates to miniDisplayPort, which is peculiar to Apple for the present (gotta love the instant incompatibility of Mac Pro&#039;s with Apple&#039;s own mid-range Cinema display!).  At macWorld SF, HP was speculating that there will be a miniDisplayPort-&gt;DisplayPort adapter at some point, and Gefen ventured they&#039;d have a solution by March in the neighborhood of 200 clams.  I&#039;d say a Apple has blown a hole clean through their foot this time - &#039;magine Samsung, HP and other 24&quot; LCD  vendors will see their attach rate to FCP rigs spike for a while longer…</description>
